I just wanted to ask one more bit about education and then we'll move on to some funny things.

Royal Perth Hospital, trauma service, there's a really good bunch of surgeons that work there from a spine point of view.

I remember it is the spinal trauma service for the whole state.

Yes.

And there were the two sections of people that were kind of pushing back, that of the and that of a faction which you may not have heard of called the Perth Group, centering around a lady called Eleni Papadopoulos Eliopoulos, who may or may not have been Greek.

She was in Perth Royal Hospital, where she took up her tenure, and she was challenging the existence of HIV.

And kind of on the other side, there were the more notable individuals that were far more kind of establishment.

Peter Juesberg and all of the people that were around him, David Vrasnik, and one of those was Cary Mullis.

So my dad grew up in Geraldton in rural WA and did medicine at UWA.

And I was born in Perth when he was working at Royal Perth Hospital.

He did some surgical training there and then went and did some rural locums.

So that was before I started school.

So my first memories are probably of living in Liverpool and Edinburgh.

Then we came back and...

He worked for a while at Royal Perth Hospital looking to do surgical training, but ended up settling in Albany as a GP surgeon.

So he was able to use his surgical skills, but also did general practice for the largest group practice in Albany.

But perhaps even worse than that, The month just gone here at Charlie's, here at Charlie's ED, the ambulance ramping numbers for the month just gone, the second worst month on record for ambulance ramping at Charlie's ED.

And across at Royal Perth Hospital, also in the month of August, the second worst month on record for ambulance ramping at Royal Perth Hospital.

This is simply unacceptable.

It is unacceptable.
