Roy Green

The Cardinals had a receiver that was blazing fast.

His name was Roy Green, and we played against each other a lot.

We knew each other and, and he knew that I was gonna be trying to do something to deal with him, so every once in a while in warmups, he would kind of jog over to me and say, "Hey, Bill-

Yeah

Back then it was in Arizona.

I worked with Roy Green, who was a receiver for the Cardinals and the Eagles.

He was

once upon a time a DB, too.

I f- actually have a funny story.

Back in the day, NFC East, the Cardinals had a very, very s- speedy wide receiver, much like Lamb, and his name was Roy Green.

And we played each other so much we knew each other, and once in a while in warmups-

I remember this story.

Together, they were a great duo back in the day.

After that, gets a bit thin, but Roy Green was a good player.

And at tight end, they currently have probably their best tight end ever, Trey McBride.

I also gave them Jackie Smith another A. OG.

You know, in my experience, I've encountered several receivers like that that were opponents.

Randy Moss, a guy named Roy Green that used to play for the Cardinals.

He was a constant thorn in my side.

And, in fact, we had always a little dialogue and warm-up He used to say to me, Bill, what do you got for me today? I said, well, Roy, we're either rolling into you with the zone or we're going to be putting two guys on you on the man-to-man, so you're not going to get to do much today.
