On the one hand, right, I think the average American really wants to do good and really wants the United States to stand for good, and that's been its rhetoric, especially in the post-World War II era.

But the reality is, of course, is it doesn't live up to its own standards.

Um, it, it... you just look at it in the types of wars that it chooses to get involved in, right? These aren't wars that it was forced into.

I- is America the good guy? Is, is it the global good guy policeman, or is it something else?

Uh, I think I, I was looking at the news and there was a news article at 3:30 my time, uh, about the US striking targets in Iran.

And, uh, Iran has hit Kuwait the first two days in retaliation, and Bahrain is the latest, uh, target.

Um, I- Israel, of course, is just smashing the living hell out of South Lebanon, right? It's just, it's insane.

Israel has, uh, restarted operations in Gaza.

So if this is a ceasefire, I'd hate to see what war looks like.

Th- this is a, a, a really crappy ceasefire.

Um, he's wrecked the United States' relationships with the Gulf States.

Uh, Saudi Arabia has actually said that the United States' interests and Saudi Arabia's interests are no longer aligned, which is a catastrophe for the United States.

If they end up with that out of this, I, I... and, and they s- and they don't hand over their enriched uranium, I, I'm re- a- and the I... and the regime remains intact, it, it's very hard to see how President Trump can claim a legitimate victory, isn't it?
