Rougemont

First, Governor Stein says the State of North Carolina is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest in a murder that happened more than 20 years ago.

In November of 2005, 68-year-old Rosa Crabtree was found dead in her home in the Rougemont community of Durham County.

Police believe it was a robbery, as several items were missing from the home.

Former Governor Easley offered a reward back in 2005, but now the Durham County Sheriff's Office has submitted physical evidence to the North Carolina State Crime Laboratory for further advanced testing.
