Rotting Christ

You know, they've been in the works for quite some time, so to finally play them live.

When we did the Rotting Christ shows last year, we didn't play any of the new material.

So I think it was just the excitement of getting that out there and giving people a sneak peek of what was coming.

Yeah, that's true.

I mean, there were probably death metal bands doing things like that by this time.

I mean, it's not that different from like a Rotting Christ chord, right? Where you're palm muting, shifting dyads.

But Rotting Christ weren't usually just like picking out like a nasty dissonant interval and hanging on it.

Anyway, point being, I think they're doing something a little bit...

they have different kinds of chugs throughout their records.

They played in Leipzig, Germany on November 26, 1990, and the concert was later released as the live album Live in Leipzig.

Apparently, they misread a letter from their friend Sakis Tolis of Rotting Christ saying their planned concert in Greece had been cancelled.

Another time, their show in Izmir, Turkey was shut down by police, but it's unclear why.

I think we know why.

Mm-hmm

... let's say for instance, Rotting Christ.

Yes.

Yeah.
