Rostraver Township

But did Jacob actually live there, or did he simply own the property? His age and the tax records from the 1780s cast a little bit of doubt on that story.

But what the tax records do confirm is Jacob's ownership of a still in 1787 while living near his mother and brothers in Rostraver Township, just a couple miles east of the Monongahela.

And his brother Henry Jr. also owned a still on the western side of the river.

and throughout the area, a Spears and Fry family infrastructure begins to emerge.

And so glad to have Pastor Bill Bailey with us.

He's the teaching pastor, lead pastor, senior pastor at Journey by Grace Church there in Rostraver, Pennsylvania, just outside the Pittsburgh area.

And he's been there for a little while.

I think he'll figure this out one of these days, but 52 years.

So October 14th, we're going to be at the Holiday Inn Express in Washington.

On the 21st, Hampton Inn in Bell Vernon or Rostraver.

October 29th, we're going to be at the Holiday Inn Express in Green Tree, right up the road from this station.

And then November 3rd, Hampton Inn in Harmerville.
