Yeah, so I think my understanding of that situation is that there was a, a bit of, there was a disagreement essentially between the SRU and Edinburgh, where one side didn't want him to play, the other side clearly did, and, you know, by the fact he was in the team, we can see who won.

But I wonder at, you know, was that at the expense of Hamish's sort of Edinburgh future? Look, I think, uh, the semantics of the whole situation aside, played 181 times for Edinburgh in 15 seasons, uh, player of the Six Nations, British Lion, like very few players of, and, you know, Gilco, Rambo, these kind of guys of that era have given more for Edinburgh rugby than, than Hamish Watson.

I'm not sure an appearance off the bench, ironically at cast in a Champions Cup drubbing was the farewell Hamish Watson deserved from, from Edinburgh rugby.

Yeah, but it feels like it wasn't for Edinburgh rugby, it's for Scottish rugby.

He's getting good write-ups where he is.

I hope they can get some results and start climbing because, because I'm selfish and I want Hamish to do well [laughs] and I, and I hope it goes well for him and I think he's, he's coming back for a bit of a holiday and he'll be keen to catch up with people.

And you're right, the likes of Gilco and Rambo and, you know, Gilco's still going and still fighting the good fight and hopefully he can continue to do that and I think he will.

He will be treated to the sendoff that he deserves if and when it happens.
