I say keeping him at the club.

Who knows what might happen in the next five years, right? until 2031 I listened to his interview yesterday he did the press yesterday and he was talking about his admiration of Kieran Tierney the fact that he looked up to KT and he hopes that youth graduates can now look up to him and I find it quite interesting I mentioned it to you earlier on today we now have in the first team squad and indeed in the Europa League A squad seven academy graduates two of whom have left the club and returned And they are, of course, Ross Doohan, Colby Donovan, Tony Ralston, Dane Murray, James Forrest, Kieran Tierney, Callum McGregor.
P

And they range in age from the youngest, Colby Donovan, at 20, right up to James Forrest, aged 35.

And when you look through that Celtic side and also the subbies, we've got Donovan, of course, starting.

You know, this is how you spin things, isn't it? Seven Academy graduates in the squad.
P

Ross Doohan being one of them.

There's your reason for bringing him back.

If for any reason we do go out there and get another goalkeeper in, Quinny, what happens, right? So at this moment in time, we've got Sinisalo, a permanent goalkeeper.
P

We have Johnston now playing ahead of him, who's... temporarily in the building and we've got Ross Doohan who has become the Scott Bain of the squad so if you do go out and you buy someone like Tot and you sign him is that a case of right you're signing him and then you're allowing Doohan to go or are you signing him and allowing Sinisal to go who becomes your two goalkeepers vying for the gloves

I think, again, Michael said that he reckons there's a good chance that Celtic go back in for Toff because I can't remember his contract length, but I think in January he's either six months or 18 months and it's kind of last chance to loan to cash in on him kind of idea.

So I would not be shocked at that one iota.

And that's happened this week, that link.
P

And, you know, you were left thinking if that happens, if there's not an option to end the loan deal on Sam Johnston early in January, then we're loaning out or selling Ross Doohan.
P

You know, that was the situation that we were in.

Having never played a game of football for Celtic since he came back, we were going to be possibly offloading him.

I sort of defended him a lot on here last season, but I just think the three of them are...

It's, you can pick any two of them and you're likely to get a mistake out them, and it's rather convenient that the best center half of them all is Carter-Vickers, who, as I say, I think it's a bit convenient that he's picked up a muscle strain shortly after criticise the manager and that's terrifying in itself if that is any sort of correlation but I think the keeper's terrible as well I know what I say just bring Sam Johnson in I said that on here a few weeks ago Ross Doohan must be fucking terrible because if he can't get in ahead of these two it's a real worry for him because that Sinisalo people might think I'm exaggerating here I think 85 to 90 percent of the goals he concedes he should save see if you look at every goal he concedes he's fucking always rooted to his line doesn't seem to move I agree he should have saved the penalty even the last one the last one looks like it's about a foot away from him and he's just sort of he doesn't make any attempt to go towards it like I don't trust him I think he's the Celtic number one purely because Kasper Schmeichel tried to play with one shoulder and he was a beneficiary that gone so awfully for Schmeichel so I desperately need another keeper don't care if it's Johnson Doohan or fucking Stevie Woods we need somebody else in on Sunday because I just I've got no confidence in Sinisalo and look I thought we created enough in both halves because the keeper made a few good saves we've hit the bar or the post three times like there's sparks in the team that make you think aye there is something there that they I'm not going to repeat what Tony says because but he's got a point I think this team you get more out of it with a new manager or like a better coaching team and I'm not going to say oh please don't sack O'Neill let him go gracefully like I think for the sake of the club we need to make a change and I've got a feeling like I says it on here on Sunday I think we're in the eye of the storm I think what's going to happen in the next sort of few games is that we're going to equal Nancy's record I think it'll be two wins in nine because I think the games coming up are just going to find this team out a lot I think the defensive frailties are there for all to see and I think we're going to be looking at a similar situation where we're sort of two wins in nine and at the next international break you're going to have to do something because it's just sort of untenable if it does go on like that I hope it doesn't hopefully I'm wrong and we can take some positives from that second half obviously Duran gets on the score sheet and a lot of the time at 3-1 we did look like we could get back in here I thought Osmond as bright as he was I thought he really should have slid it to Duran when he broke through in the box and the fact that he decided to go alone and then the defender made a decent block it makes it look worse because Duran looks like he's in a bit of space just along the six yard box so I don't know if we would have turned on because I do feel like a few as I've said Benfica were there and if they needed to go and score again they would have they obviously did go on and then make it 4-1 but I'm similar like we've got really tough games remaining like your Celta Vigo Marseille Besiktas like I know we've got a couple of games against the Portuguese second division mob although they gave Sunderland a bit of a game and I know Sunderland won in the last minute but you've got to aim where you've got to be looking to take full points now and then I think the team for Crete as well so we have got a chance but we really need to wake up and I think we're going to have more domestic problems to worry about in coming weeks that Europe will just become a sort of distraction and I think we're sort of one defeat away from being out of the Europa League contention so I just hope that doesn't come because as I say Celtic as a club have to have better ambitions than just winning the league every season you've got to aim to be better and this was a competition we really should be competing in now I'm not saying that's just all based on the night because as I say Benfica is a good team and most years more years than not they'll be in the Champions League but I think Benfica is a sort of example I'm not going to go out all their ins and outs over the last 20 years but if you look at how they ran as a club and how they did their transfer business and how their youth prospects have flourished and made them big money it's everything Celtic should be striving to be and we couldn't be further away at this point but I'm sure we'll come back on the Europa League next week so obviously that Celta Vigo game coming up but we'll be back in two seconds to preview Sunday's massive Hearts game where Celtic look to stay top of the league
