Rosewood

Massacres?

Massacres?Rosewood, Florida, a Black town destroyed by a white mob in 1923.

Burned to the ground.

People killed.

A Liberal government sent air, and Liberals tried to put him on trial.

Democrats wrote the Black Codes, and Republicans signed the land back.

The party that drew the redlining maps also paid Rosewood.

A Klansman ended convict leasing.

We, we live in a typical suburban neighborhood, and um, our kids aren't going to be the direct victims of culture wars.

But I don't want my kids to live in a state that tolerates the culture wars, and I'll tell you this, every child, including mine, should know about the Rosewood Massacre.

Yeah.

[clapping]

And so it had to do with- Racism not just against Japanese people, but also, um, Korean people were targeted as well as Chinese people who had historically been the subject of, of racism and segregation for, for decades up to that point as well.

All right, so jumping forward, um, another big one was in 1992 was the Rosewood Massacre where there was this, this false allegation that took place, and then an armed white mob, um, stormed and systematically burned down this entire prosperous Black town of Rosewood, which is in the state of Florida, and basically burnt the entire town to the ground, erasing it from the map.

And this massacre, interestingly, was actively suppressed.

Like, the documentation and knowledge of it was, was suppressed after that point, especially by the state, all the way until 72 years later in 1994 where there was a Venus retrograde in Scorpio.

And this, many historians regard that as, like, the beginning of the end of the Soviet Union because after that point, some of the instability, um, started to spiral out of control in terms of that eventually culminating in the dissolution of the Soviet Union in the late 1980s and early 1990s.

But that was kind of, like, interesting 'cause it was kind of like the beginning of the end in some sense during that Venus retrograde in Scorpio recurrence.

Um, elsewhere I mentioned the Rosewood Massacre in 1923 and how Florida became the first state in US history to offer financial reput- rep- reparations to survivors in 1994 on that recurrence.

Um, I mentioned Stan Lee and his recurrence with, like, being born on a Venus retrograde in Scorpio and releasing Spider-Man and Iron Man under a repetition of that in 1962 and then how that movie's gonna come out later this year in, in, uh, I think November of 2026.
