And so we provide a very unique perspective for companies to be able to refine their technology.

Shufin's referring to someone who is starting her own startup robot company and was really, I think, almost taken aback by the kind of conversations that we had in our lab for debriefing after observing the the humanoid companion robot in action in a memory support neighborhood with one of our community partners.

We also collaborate with like senior living organizations.

And the CEO of the startup company was just really interested in the nursing perspective and how we were thinking about who benefits and how and why various groups benefit from a humanoid companion robot in in a dementia care setting.

And in our study, we're looking at not just the response of people with dementia to the robot over time.

And this is a unique study because it is a year-long study.

And Shelley argues that that judgment is exactly what a free market left to itself can get wrong.
