He's supposed to be returning to the road later this month on the 17th in Georgia to continue his night champion world tour.

At the time, she was more interested in writing her own songs than interpreting the songs of others.

develop did you ever get any pressure to say you know because some artists i can get that i know nancy griffith started with quite an acoustic sound and then occasionally there was a couple of times or one album in particular which was kind of overproduced and it was like I wish they hadn't quite gone but then Roseanne Cash did an album called 10 Songs Demoed and it was like oh just put that out you don't need to do anything else that just sounds brilliant so did you ever get any pressure with you know let's slap some lipstick on that and make it a bit more kind of

No, no, actually it was, it was, if anything, it was the opposite.

Cause I think she, you know, she'd come out of the scene on McDougal street with the speakeasy and fast, the fast folk movement, which, you know, it was a lot of people like Sean Colvin and Lucy Kaplansky and, and all these kind of new wave of, of singer songwriters who, who had re-inhabited the village.
