So is there this moment where you're like, I need to figure out if this is true or not?

RootsTech.

Okay.

How long ago? So last year.

Just this last RootsTech? Yeah, the one in March.

Okay.

So I was sitting in one of the AI sessions that they had, and they were talking about, you know, how helpful AI can be for translation and and for transcription and, you know, kind of digging through large amounts of data to find things.

You know, born in 1832, died in 1908, married, and so on.

So I took my notes from my therapy sessions and I put them, you know, in a Word document and.

And I contacted some people that I know from RootsTech and I got an editor and just on a whim, I sent it and said, hey, I'm thinking this might be a good book.

Can you help me organize my thoughts? And she did.

And she sent it back and was like, this is a good start, but you need a lot more in detail about things that you talk about.

I don't know yet.

I did get a chance to see the redesigned GenMatch website at RootsTech, which was pretty exciting.

They have some really cool new features and I think some features that are really going to benefit the genealogy community as a whole.

But I'm hoping that the backend functionality pretty much stays the same because there are certain files that we pull that I believe should... still be available.

Yeah.

I love that you made the time to stay longer after RootsTech, and, um, you and I have known each other for a little while, but that conversation we had at the conference a few months ago-

... where you shared your story, I just thought, "We have to have you on the podcast."

I will put out an episode later on during the week.

But I promise you, this talk was given – well, I guess you can call it a talk – It was President Nelson and Sister Nelson at RootsTech Discovery Day.

And when I heard it for myself, it was quite extraordinary.

One, that he would testify so openly about this particular familial thinning of the veil experience, which obviously has helped the testimony of their family individually, but through the generations.

That's all I'm going to ask.

And I'll leave it there because we've already had this conversation many times.
