Roofman

I don't remember if Brie actually saw this or if I just talked to her about watching it.

Uh, Channing Tatum was in a movie called Roofman like-

Yes

... a year or two ago that was actually really good.

One minute.

And then he was also in Roof Man, which I feel like a good number of people saw.

I didn't.

That was the one with Channing Tatum, right? Yeah.

I loved you in Magic Mike XXL.

You know what? Actually, I liked Roofman too.

Did you see Roofman?

What the hell is that? [laughs]

It was the, the movie, it was from last year, where it was about that guy who was living in a Toys"R"Us, and it was a true story.

Okay, and Channing Tatum was in it?

Channing Tatum was the guy.

He was Roofman.

That's my man, my man, my man.

Um, Step Up, She's the Man, like to, to Roofman.

Like, I love him.

Wow.

So this of course was dominating-

That's quite a jump.

She's the Man to Roofman.

All of it.

No, now I'm curious.

What was it? It was Roofman.

Roofman, you were close.

Roofman, that's it.

Yeah, Channing Tatum is

in it.

But, like, of late, Channing Tatum, you know, does really interesting work in things like Bling Twice.

I've not seen Roof Man, but, like, for us, it's a film that's, like, comedic and fun.

But, like, I like that he... as he's not the younger step-up guy, is doing more interesting and challenging things.

It's really great to see.

middle last yeah uh in a way that like that's uh just if you you know if you want to talk about a movie from last year that is based on an unlikely true story about a larger than life figure coming into the life of this uh you know uh unassuming single mother of two and having a romance strike up between them.

I much preferred Roofman.

Wasn't

Roofman great? Talk about a movie that should have had more legs than it did.

If that was the movie that ended up with the lone actress nomination for Kirsten Dunst, I would have been a lot more.

Well, she would have been

But I don't, I don't think that was the case at all.

I was watching, uh, the movie Roofman last night with Channing Tatum.

Um-

What? I've never even heard of this movie.

Sure, yeah.

And then hides from the police, 'cause they're coming, 'cause the manager caught him.

Roofman?

Roofman.
