Ron Silver

Blue Steel was the name of the movie.

Her and Ron Silver and Clancy Brown in that one.

A good flick.

Anybody who hasn't seen it, definitely check it out there.

And New World had distributed this movie.

Ron Silver is a wild casting choice.

He plays Mickey McSorley, the lead.

Silver wasn't primarily known as a sloppy comedy actor.

He went on to substantial dramatic work including Reversal of Fortune, Blue Steel, and later The West Wing.

So you've got a serious actor playing a detective investigating an alien who eats Italians.

Although Ron Silver would be in, like, a science fiction.

Isn't he in Time Cop? Isn't he the villain in Time Cop? He might be.

You're gonna-- You should beat Mississippi State.

You should beat Florida under a first-year head coach, Don Sumrall.

You should beat Kentucky after they got romped this weekend by Alabama.

You should beat Kentucky.

You should beat Oklahoma after they lost to Michigan.

And quite frankly, Michigan should have lost against Western Michigan, but the clock and that whole thing, oh gosh.

And then the fourth, I mean, quite frankly, you should beat Arkansas under their first-year head coach, Ron Silver.

That should be a win for Mizzou.

ron silver ron silver with the most incredible like little lord fauntleroy haircut like you've ever seen um and then pierce brosnan just has like incredible hair and looks great It is a movie that has some of the wildest action set pieces I have seen from the 90s, just in terms of how ludicrous they are.

There's also some insane explosions.

The entire concept of the movie is that Pierce Brosnan plays this bomb disposal guy, and he is in Washington, D.C., and the movie's set in Washington, D.C., and there's tons of actual location filming, which is really interesting.

But also what's really great is just that it's got really fun characters.

Pierce Brosnan is so much fun.

He's going through like the messiest divorce of all time with this woman who like is stuck in a love triangle between him and Ron Silver.

And like, she can't, she's being like, she's just so thankless and does nothing.

I'm not entirely sure.

Really? Because I knew Jeff because Jeff and I and an actor named – Ron Silver had done a play in New York called El Grande de Coca-Cola at the Plaza Hotel.

Oh, I remember that show, and I remember both those guys, too.

Yeah, I do, too.

Yeah, Ron Silver.

Yeah, yeah, Jeff.

And then Jeff and I, in California, we used to work at the same Vince's Gym on Ventura Boulevard, whatever.
