Ron Rash

So I think Southern fiction, like short stories are like, I'm a short story writer myself.

Like I think to me, like reading Larry Brown and Ron Rash's short fiction, um, All of those things are like just southern short story.

Flannery O'Connor, like all these people, right? Like that's what I remember like coming to short fiction as.

So I think all our short fiction is amazing.

Scott Gould is a little bit different in that he's not as focused on the darker aspects.

It's he's a little bit more aligned with David Joy or Ron Rash.

He's literary.

But his latest book is a historical book.

I think reading, I'm just lucky and I have my computer is propped up on a... on a bunch of books that are kind of the books that I need to have within reaching distance.

And so I think one of them would be Ron rash's new and selected stories, or they might all just be collected, but something rich and strange, those short stories.

I think that people would see, they'd be like, okay, yeah, that Noah, Noah came from that.

Hmm.
