Ron Meeks

So fast-forward to the year, next year, here comes Deion, right? And I was able to confirm a lot of the things Darrell had been saying because I'm watching Deion up close and personal in practice.

And then I also had a coach in Ron Meeks who was a technician coach, so I had all this stuff going on.

Ron Meeks is really trying to wrestle me away from Darrell, you know, because he, he knew what he, he could teach me would help me, and it's sort of the, the style that Deion played with, you know, staying square, staying in front of a guy, and Darrell was not like that.

Darrell, Darrell was the type, he just wants to stay close to you, feel your energy.

He was a quick guy, jitterbug.

He didn't really try to hold guys up at the line of scrimmage like me and Deion would.

So the little I learned from...

Well, the lot I learned from Darrell, and then I get exposed to Ron Meeks and then watching Deion, how he studied tape, I mean, you gotta think, that's my first two years.
