Ron Erhardt

Uh, it's a shame some of them couldn't make it.

You know, the one, um, just to get into the, the 40 years since we won the Super Bowl, Ron Erhardt's the one I really wish could have been there.

Yeah.

Just because he never got the attention he deserved.

Uh, it was always about, you know, of course I understand Lawrence, Bill Parcells, and Bill Belichick.

And, um, as they called him, Fargo, 'cause he coached up in, uh, North Dakota State for a couple years, won a couple national championships, and then came in the NFL and did a great job.

So I, you know, that was the one guy I really missed not seeing.

I wish I could have seen him on Sunday.

Like, this is the type of football that Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen have been saying from day one of 2026 that this is what they wanted to do, and it is exactly what they did, and it couldn't have come on a bigger stage, Sunday Night Football, in front of the whole nation, and against that team down in Dallas.

In a lot of ways, it reminded me of the Parcells Giants, because you had Bill Parcells and Ron Erhardt who believed in running the ball, running it, if they could, for 130-something yards a game.

They ran for 165, I think was the number last night, right? It was over 160, wasn't it?

Uh, 165.

That's gonna make it third and 10 from the 14 with 30 seconds remaining in the half.

But to the credit of, uh, Ron Erhardt, they called the play backside X flag, meaning I'm in the slot, Ingram comes in motion, and we both run post, but I run a post corner.

The blitz is on.

Here's Hostetler.
