Romolo Guerrieri

Cool.

We're not gonna talk about Romolo Guerrieri, who directed the film, in depth because we already did this on our episode of, of the fantastic L'altra figura, or The Double.

But I'll just give you a brief mention of where he was in his career at the time of filming this.

So at the time of production, Guerrieri's 36, and he'd worked as an assistant director since the early '50s, and he made his directorial debut with Malizia sulla spiaggia in 1961.

But his career didn't take off properly until 1966, where two of his, of his Westerns opened.

This was the second time that he worked with producers Luciano Martino and Mino Loy.

But Ernesto Gastaldi, who was 33 at the time of this, he gets the sole credit as the writer of the screenplay, even though the idea is based on one of his and, um, Luciano Martino's.

And he's adamant that Rondi wasn't involved in the project.
