Romeo

Yeah.

Well, we're from Romeo, Michigan.

It's about an hour north of Detroit.

And then Dad, when we were little, he was the music leader at our church.

Hi, Randy.

This is Linda calling from Romeo, Michigan.

I just want to tell you that I love your program.

I've been listening to the station since January when I found you, and I am trying to lead the intentional life, trying to be more intentional in my marriage with my husband.

They graduate, and then a new crop from a different program kind of claims that top spot.

When you look at the past few seasons, Ike, obviously, before that, it was Romeo winning 19 games and making it to the state tournament rounds in 23-24.

Prior to that, Chippewa Valley made history with the program's first 20-win season.

So you really have this area of the state, and it's not totally uncommon elsewhere, but you get these groups that come up through youth hockey playing together Then they matriculate into the high school world as they grow up and end up in the same school systems.

And I know that's a step up in competition, but Ike, I think, is a little down this year.

Sinclair Shores is a little down this year.

Romeo? I mean, I'm taking Chip to win it, but man, on paper at least, Marysville might be the second best team in the red, and they haven't even played a game yet.

So there you go.

Tell us about a couple of facilities that you visited.

Well, I was lucky enough to go to L&L Products, which is up in Romeo, Michigan.

They're a manufacturer of structural reinforcements and composites.

And they've been around for, I think, 68 years.

But Our educational partners have been absolutely incredible wanting to participate and wanting to be a part of it.

And as I mentioned, every time we open the door in one of these facilities throughout this week, you know, you have 30, 40 kids that are actually participating in each one of these facilities and taking a look around, see if it might be an opportunity for them.

I was lucky enough to go to a manufacturing facility in Romeo earlier this week.

And as you said, they had several groups coming through.
