Romeo Langford

That was another hit on my part.

And then I ruined it by wanting Sekou Demboye and then Romeo Langford.

And both of those guys kind of stunk in the NBA.

So my track record that year wasn't great.

Josh Richardson gave him 44 games, gave him a half a season, 24.7 minutes, 9.7 points, 39% from three.

They flipped him to San Antonio along with Romeo Langford, who we'll see in chapter two.

A 2022 Boston first-round pick and a 2028 Boston first-round swap for Derek White, who gave him five years, 14.7 points.

four rebounds, 4.7 assists, one block a game, and three seasons of all defensive NBA.

And that, I believe, is how we went from a bust with Siku Dumbaya somehow turns all the way into Jalen Duren.

All right, moving on to pick number 14.

With the 14th pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, the Boston Celtics select Romeo Langford from Indiana University.

All right, the 14th pick.

And that's true, definitely true in Micah's case.

I mean, he was, he was talking about how he went, I think he was, you know, six years old, he went to, uh, watch Romeo Langford play at nearby Scottsburg in a game.

And, you know, of course that place was jam-packed and, you know.

But he has those memories, Deron Davis holding him above his head at a, at a camp he went to.

Uh, he's a cool kid.

I'm glad he got that opportunity.

Going to see Romeo Langford as a kid, come on, man.

You're making me feel old as hell here.

They can call time of death.

You know what they did? Romeo Langford.

You guys know who this is? Romeo Langford.

Romeo Langford was the 14th overall pick from Indiana.

Highly touted prospect.

Fucking sucked.

And that was a beautiful throwback.

And Romeo Langford looked, I don't know if he just always photographed like this, but he looked high out of his gourd in this Team USA photo.

And that just takes me back to the famous picture of all the, that Celtics team out at the movies where clearly they were also indulging.

Well, not clearly, but they were alleged to have been indulging.

And it just reminded me of that great 2021 playoffs where Romeo Langford was a playoff starter.

That was pretty wild.

That is a, Quality picture, too.

I've seen this yet.
