Roman Catholic Diocese of Tucson

I entered the seminary in 1987.

So the Diocese of Tucson sent me to New Mexico, Santa Fe.

I was in Santa Fe for about a year and a half.

And to my surprise, I don't know why I thought it was a surprise, but I ran into some Franciscans.

So I walked in there and after all of that, I had a moment.

I had a moment where God was speaking to me and And the words were, I want you here.

And I said, Lord, I'm discerning, and I've already decided that I'm studying for the Diocese of Tucson.

That's what I said, yes, already.

The First Amendment didn't compel this result.

I put the Diocese of Tucson in bankruptcy years ago.

The Catholics did a pretty good job.

They felt shame.
