Now it's still hot across parts of the far west and southwest particularly but everywhere else those temperatures have moderated to some degree in comparison to what we saw in recent days particularly along the east so you could draw a line there from areas around Hughenden down to around Rome and east of that you've got a bit more moisture and somewhat cooler temperatures as well because of those south-easterly winds but West of that, the temperature is still a little bit on the warmer side across parts of the south as well.

But it's the southwest we'll see the warmer temps holding on for the next few days, generally around the 3 to 6 degrees above average.

But ever else, generally near average for the rest of the interior and then for the east coast, generally a little bit on the cooler side.
