Roldy Brito

Yeah, right.

Roldy Brito.

Jackson Wiggins.

Elmer Rodriguez rookie.

Oh, that might be yellow.

Let's roll the-

Roldy Brito again.

Cason Cunningham.

Those are just some of the bigger prospect names.

It's how do you, how do you identify guys like Roldy Brito, which is a great find by the Colorado Rockies, but how do you multiply those finds? How do you find and develop these gems that now Brito is a top what? Uh, he's just outside the top 50 of top 100 prospects, and as I've talked about on the show, I think he's gonna continue to climb.

He's just impressed that much.

There's just so much that goes into it that the Rockies were so far behind on that, yes, finding starting pitching is really important, but being able to develop it has been a, a huge misfactor in all of this and, and just putting more resources into that category of the organization.

And then, of course, the LA Dodgers, who have been the best team ever.

in baseball so how do you how do you prep a rebuild when you have those three teams the Giants obviously are building assets and I think that's what the Rockies need to focus on it's what that they've done really well this year is they've really improved their farm system was like 28th 29th at the end of last year and now it's it's back into finding its way into the teens now it's high teens but it is far better you look at even the top 100 players in baseball or um In the farm system, Roldy Brito has been really solid.

Ethan Holliday's name is up there, Charlie Condon.

But of course, Tyler Bell, their new draft pick, is now listed in there.

just continues to shine him.

And four other guys are named, um, for the single, a all-stars for the Fresno Grizzlies, Wilder Davis, Roldy Brito, Tanner Thatch, Brady Parker, and Seth Clawson.

A couple of pitchers as well at Brady Parker was actually named the California league pitcher of the year.

Roldy Brito was named the top prospect, uh, And while these guys could be a couple years away, it is still just refreshing to hear, hey, there are actually guys coming up in the system that you should start to feel excited about.

We've done a couple different shows in the past.

where, hey, here's some different highlights on guys and when to expect them.

And you have some really big-name prospects in Spokane, but a lot of them had to take a while to sort of find their footing.

Roldy Brito, who had a phenomenal year last year in Fresno, took a little bit to find his footing.

Robert Collaz, who finally made it out of Fresno into Spokane, same thing.

It took some of these guys really until the second half and the end of the season to find their footing at a higher level of competition.

Okay, our first one actually over the course of the year moved to the outfield full-time.

And that is Roldy Brito with the Colorado.

His first primary outfield season.

He still did play some infield this year.
