Give us some opinion on what you're looking forward to about this training camp season uh the pre-season is upon us as of tomorrow officially when games get going calgary will be a day later sunday at home to seattle in the flames case but the oilers will fire it up tomorrow against winnipeg in a game that we'll have on chad i'll have the uh face-off show at 4 30 in the afternoon six o'clock puck drop from rogers place looking forward to that one getting our first broadcast off the ground in many months haven't had a broadcast since the 30th of april as far as hockey goes that was game six against anaheim for the edmonton oilers so we're looking forward to that up here I know the team down at QR Calgary very much looking forward to carrying things.

Yeah, it was interesting sitting actually very close to Babcock when they were doing the scrimmage at Rogers Place today.

He was up in the stands, not down on the bench, getting a bird's eye view of things.

It's interesting because they don't have much time to experiment this year, hey, with just the two opportunities really to get veterans into preseason action.

I anticipate we'll see that first line in action tomorrow night when things get going down at Rogers Place but overall it's been a big opportunity for Ike Howard I would say with Matt Savoy out of the lineup Jansen he's one of the younger players Howard is that I'm particularly interested in focusing on this camp what are your impressions from the Iceman so far has he impressed you or has he left you wanting a little more what do you think so far?

Yeah, I think he looks like the best player in rookie camp for what that's worth, and obviously that would be expected given he's a rookie camp veteran and someone who's going to be given an opportunity to play in the Oilers' top six.

But in main camp here, he also looks pretty strong.

I was just talking to Michael Chan, actually.

I saw him down in the bowels of Rogers Place.

He's getting set for their season.
