Probably the horse that's really uh surprised given his two-year-olds was his bayside boy he's the son of new bay of course this great dubawi line is just absolutely dominating everywhere now bayside boy was a a group one place two year old a group two winning uh two-year-old of a group two uh winning two-year-old for for tam valley for roger varian He of course then trained on to win a Queen Elizabeth stakes as a three year old over a mile.

So this is a horse that at a typical, you know, top two year old, better three-year-old, group vomiting three-year-old, and you'd expect his progeny to just improve as they mature.

He does stand at Ballylin Stud alongside Lope de Vega, so he has had that benefit of their support, and you expect this young horse who's getting his stakes when he's getting some really nice horses that have won already.

very similar sort of analysis here um which ad hasn't quite got home over a mile in his last two starts in very good handicaps the britannia at royal ascot um and then a good mile handicap at the um uh at the july meeting at new market again both times he's he's um threatened with a furlong to go and hasn't quite got there he's behind moonfall in the britannia um There was always a very good race to Britannia, but you know, the horses who finish at the top there are usually bordering group class.

He was a winner of this meeting last year of a nursery and won it in good style on good grind and went on to run well on heavy grind at his next start.

So I think getting away from very quick grind and getting back to seven furlongs are the keys to Wet Shard.

Yesterday, Jets, the charity set up in order to help professional jockeys secure a future for themselves after life in the saddle, announced they have secured a funding boost for the next three years from the John Pearce Foundation, who will be contributing £40,000 a year.

There's a few at the top of the market you have to respect, and the boys have covered them all well.

Hasn't run on anything this soft and hasn't come to second on Good to Soft so but the action and the way he's all plugged on at Donny you just think that Haydock's going to suit and the ground will suit so so yeah you've got Mythical Bay here as well Baldy's won a couple of times in the last ten years that just didn't settle last time at York that was ninth in the same race that he ran in There's a bit of a weight poor, I think something like five pounds between those two.

So I wouldn't be surprised to see Mythical Bay overturn that form with the Burt course at the top of the market.

But I think Reamrack at 11 at two, Roger Varian horses are still going great guns, eight stone seven.

She looks the value here.
