Roger Espinoza

We built the spine of that team.

If you think about it, guys like Matt Beisler, Graham Zussi, Roger Espinosa, Dom Dwyer.

Ike Opara.

Ike Opara, CJ Sapong, Teal Bond.

I wanna promote, uh, the KC Cauldron, if you are a member, is doing an event on Monday, October 19th.

So, uh, today is Sunday, we're recording on a Sunday, so like eight days from today, where they're doing the Hot Ones thing they did last year, where they're gonna have Jake Reed, Roger Espinosa, and a mystery guest eat some hot wings and answer some progressively harder questions as the, uh, progressively spicier wing sauces are, are divvied up.

I bet it's gonna be Peter Malouk.

I have no insider information-

You can paint tifos.

You can just go cheer and, you know, watch your soccer team play soccer.

But Monday, October 19th, Jake Reed, Roger Espinosa, and a mystery guest.

Well, if it's Peter Malouk, that would be great.

But he is so, like, so at a different level.

Like, he gives me those Roger Espinosa levels of fucking intensity-

Yeah, that's what I was gonna say

... to his game.

Because

Andre hits a few a game that go Roger Espinoza level second

deck.

Yeah.

Nick Garcia got us rolling and we're so pleased to be joined now by Camilo Valencia, who is the head coach at Mojave Community College and junior college soccer continues to be legit.

He was Roger Espinoza's roommate and for Kansas City fans, I know you're drooling already because who doesn't love Roger Espinoza? I loved Roger Espinoza.

I mean, the guy was incredible during his time at Ohio State and ran into Camilo at the airport in Chicago and saw his young team there.

Bright eyed.

Currently in Long Beach, we play tonight.

So yeah, it's a great day to be a Big Horn.

Yeah, well, let's back all the way up to how you ended up being roommates with Roger Espinoza.

Take us back to those years and how that happened and how cool was that?
