Roger Cross

It's not unprecedented because it was very funny.

I was just working with Roger Cross.

Yeah.

Bam Bam was directing a movie and had Terrell and I come do little walk-on parts for it.

They moved the setting from the rural West Country of England to the sprawling diverse metropolis of Toronto, deliberately utilizing the stark visual divides between the ultra-wealthy neighborhoods and the gritty industrial corridors.

They brought in actor Roger Cross to play a completely new partner, Detective Mac McAvoy.

They completely abandoned every single one of M.R. Hall's original British murder plots.

So As a viewer, I have to ask, if they change her job, her marital status, her city, her partner, and the actual crimes she investigates, what on earth are they actually adapting? Why buy the book at all?
