They conducted a prospective randomized crossover trial comparing the efficacy of real-time CGM with capillary blood glucose testing in adults with type 2 diabetes and end-stage kidney failure on hemodialysis.

This is a population that is often on insulin therapy with multiple comorbidities and is at risk of both hyper- and hypoglycemia, so in theory, CGM could be particularly helpful in this vulnerable population.
