play yeah great win for mr uh christian edwards i didn't think he'd do it gets his fifth career knockout seventh career finish great win can't even hate man can't even hate like the fact he survived round one it's going to go into consideration we're talking about comebacks of the year um low-key the main event's also going to be in that oddly just like when we look at like the stats and stuff but for this fight from the edge of death from literally being flat on your back getting hit with hammer fist to doing the exact same thing but succeeding and great work for Christian Edwards.

For Rodolfo Bellato, you know, it's so weird because, you know, he debuts in the contender series and gets knocked out and comes back and gets a knockout.

Then gets a knockout in his debut.

Then gets a bad draw in a fight he probably should have won.

Luis Hernandez and Cedric Dumas was fun.

Getting the card started with Diaz and Jericho, I was good.

And then for him to come in and get just... knocked out like he has been is just yeah it's not a good idea so anyway moving on we had uh christian edwards versus rodolfo bellato bellato just just again almost as bad as dumas not really but i don't know man just watching him get beat all the time is like it's just weird man i don't understand him um this was a minute 47 seconds into the third round he catches that left hook and edwards jumps on him finishes him on the ground bellato is just a weird guy man i don't i don't really i don't know i just don't like him i don't like him but uh his biggest weapon is his power and he actually dropped edwards in the first round um you know it was an overall pretty scrappy fight um in the light heavyweight division you know edwards uh after getting dropped in that first round he you know continued to push the pace and and landed a higher volume of strikes you know landing damage on bellator as well as you can see in this picture uh both these pictures he you can see the damage on bellator's face um By round three, Edwards came out, you know, super aggressive and landed that big hook that dropped Bellator and then swarmed on him with the punches on the ground and got the stoppage.

So that's his first UFC finish in the UFC.

You know, the light heavyweight contest between Christian Edwards and Rodolfo Bellato was very, very good.

I think two of those guys went out and decided that they were trying to take the head off one another.

I think Edwards got caught a little bit in the early stages and bounced back and then there was a ferocious finish.
