Like, what, why are you still playing with that toy? And after that, it was like people tuned in and they appreciated that, like, there, there became a reverence for Rodney Mullen finally.

Basically invented almost every skateboard trick that even if you're not a skateboarder, you know it.

I got in Thrasher Magazine when I was a kid.

But I did freestyle, like the Rodney Mullen boards.

I was doing all that wild stuff.

All I cared about was skateboarding and going to shows.

When do I start?" He said, "You start right now." And I said, "What do you want me to do?" And he said, "We don't know.

We want you to just keep doing what you're doing." So then I made a list, I started writing down names: Tony Hawk, Rodney Mullen, Mark Gonzales, all of the, my favorite and all the most influential skateboarders of all time.

And I just started getting in touch with all these guys and interviewing them.

How did this, how did Rolling Stones get your number, your contact?

Oh, yeah

... like fucking Cypress Hill, and like Rodney Mullen, Tony Hawk, Bob Burnquist.
