No one bats an eye when you see those different takes of vampires and werewolves and all this stuff like that.

And, you know, the minute you put some black folks on the screen fighting, I mean, because even Rodney Barnes with his Philadelphia book, right?

Absolutely, man.

I was going there.

I know.

I think I got Rodney Barnes.

We got Rodney.

Oh,

Yeah.

So that was, we started with three issues and now it's collected in a hardcover and paperback.

And now we had Rodney Barnes did a culture meets a count Dracula.

David, the small chin did a culture meets count Crowley and the werewolf.

That's awesome, man.

You know, I just had Rodney Barnes on the show a couple weeks ago, and I love his Blackula revival.

And you and I have talked about this before, our appreciation for those great Grindhouse 70s movies.

And are there characters, Reg, that you would like to bring back and, and work on and stuff, because I really think there's, I love, by the way, Elvis Mitchell did that incredible documentary for Netflix.

So this is just the show in comic book form.

Another episode that I'm posting today had just wrapped up his conversation with Rob Burnett about the book, Killadelphia, from Image, but also his incredible work writing television and writing films.

Just an amazing creator that I'm so glad that we have... have now met and is a friend of Mainframe and Word Balloon and look forward to our new conversations.

It's not so much dark side, how he became what he became, but that's sort of, that's the sort of pleasant extra that you get from telling this, you know, this truly sort of, a power struggle between someone who loves somebody and someone who doesn't feel that they're appropriate for their son.

No, I mean, that to me is where the kernel of great ideas come from.

Let me ask the two of you, you know, how do you, when you are, when you come up with an idea and you know what you want to do, how do you approach writing? I was, I was talking to Rodney Barnes earlier.

Do you guys, do you guys write on note cards? I mean, how do you do outline? Do you just start? Are you a pantser? Do you write by the seat of your pants? How do you both approach writing a comic?
