Rock Paper Scissors

I need a break.

So the first book I read after that, apart from parenting books, or pregnancy and birth books, um, was Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney.

Psychological thriller.

Twists and turns that I didn't see coming.

Just reading the synopsis, it sounds like kind of similar to My Husband's Wife, like in the sense that both of them have this kind of a wife swap idea, which is a thing that I think Alice Feeney is just like really, really loves.

Because like in My Husband's Wife, it's she goes out on a run, comes back home, opens the door, and there's like another woman that's like, saying that she's her so it's like there's a double wife in that sense and then the synopsis for beautiful ugly is kind of the reverse of that almost but i think it's his wife goes missing and then he goes to like a scottish island which i think has ties to rock paper scissors because that was also scottish island um he goes like to like i don't know have respite have some peace but then when he arrives there's someone on the island who looks exactly like his wife Like that's the premise.

And I'm like, oh, we really like this kind of like double wife thing.

In a remote

Yet it has already been acquired for adaptation.

And the second example is Rock, Paper, Scissors.

Variety broke the news back in April 2021 that Orchid Pictures had optioned it.

Way before publication.

They don't have to rewrite the whole thing.

Right.

And you see the same caliber of Bayer with Rock, Paper, Scissors, which was optioned by Suzanne Mackey or Kid Pictures.

And Suzanne Mackey is big, right? Huge.
