Uh, you can, of course, get in touch with us, podcast@milb.com. Before we get out of here, I do want to read an email that we got from our good friend Gregory Koch, who gets in touch with us from time to time.

Uh, and, uh, we were having a conversation a couple weeks ago about the Rochester Red Wings winning a league title in three separate centuries.

And we were saying, "Has any team ever done that before?" And, uh, Gregory got in touch and had a very good point.

He said, "The New York/San Francisco Giants have won championships in three centuries." Now, this is the caveat.

Uh, so the, the Giants have done it.

They've done it in a little bit different form.

The Rochester Red Wings have won the International League in three different centuries, which is amazing.

Uh, but yeah, the Giants, there's some cool connection there as well.

Right? So how about this? Rochester Red Wings, Syracuse Mets-

Oh

... or Buffalo Bisons?

The West High Field Playground opens on October twenty-fourth.

Rochester Red Wings General Manager Dan Mason has been named Minor League Baseball's Triple-A Executive of the Year.

Mason led the team to a ninety fifty-eight season and an International League Championship.

The Oklahoma City Comets of the Pacific League beat the Red Wings for that Triple-A championship.

You know, that's interesting.

I look at a team like the Rochester Red Wings, who are called the Red Wings because they were a Cardinals affiliate, but they haven't been a Cardinals affiliate since 1960.

Uh, is, is there the possibility that sometime, you know, in the distant future, this team loses its Cardinals affiliation and becomes, uh, an affiliate, I don't know, the Tigers or whatever.

Would this name endure beyond that affiliation?

Ball one.

Last year, Etcher Barron caught in 140 games for the Rochester Red Wings in the International League despite a broken front.

We did have some very brief bullpen activity on the part of the Dodgers in the first inning in the first of Joe Moeller.

2-0 pitch for right-hand batting Etch-A-Baron.

Like, I don't know.

I always think of this one memory, 1995, when I was working in Rochester for the Red Wings, and on Sundays we-- I would interview the manager of the Red Wings, just sort of spend five to 10 minutes in his office asking him questions about how the season is going.

I think played for the Bisons at one point when he was in the White Sox organization.
