But I'm not 100% sold that the Nationals view CJ Abrams as, like, this future piece for them, and do they think that his 33 home run season while also stealing 30-plus bases, 34 bases to be exact this season, do they think that is sustainable? Having a .497 slug, is that sustainable? And do the Nationals believe that he can repeat this year after year after year? Those are the questions that they're probably asking themselves internally about CJ Abrams, but also, I think it comes down to a value play.
