Robots

Anyway.

I grew up on Inspector Gadget and Robots.

That's the same? There's like a

few years before.

There was a movie several years ago and actually was kind of prescient.

It was called Robots.

And the premise was it was set in the year like 2032, which is always fun for me when there's a future movie that's set in the relatively near future.

Yep.

[laughs]

Design, gr- you know what, the Green Runt design, I was actually gonna say, well, reminds me a little bit of, uh, just outright Robots.

That, like, uh, Fox, uh, Fox movie.

Fox movie? Oh, yeah.

Big Fat Liar.

What a Girl Wants, Robots, She's a Man, Hairspray.

Yeah, she had it.

Easy A. Oh, dude.

This is about to be a pretty niche reference that I don't feel like anybody's gonna get.

Remember the movie Robots?

Yeah.

Hell yeah.

You get to rediscover some of those things from your childhood, though, like Ice Age and the Toy Story movies.

Have you watched Robots? I've been thinking about Robots a lot recently.

No.

Talk about a labor organizing movie.

Robots.

Okay.

My favorite that I've rediscovered is A Bug's Life.

from childhood.

In 2006, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment released a three movie DVD pack that contained the Magical Roundabout, Chicken Run, and Robots.

Now, to the U.S. release of this film as Doggle.

Dougal.

... another great one.

Robots.

Yeah, I love that.

Robots is such a good constructive film for-

It's also got a good message behind it, yeah

...

I'll, I'll get there.

Like, once I get there, I'm finally there." And then when he got it, he realized, "Oh man, this was not it." You know, there's a scene, I think you told me about it, Dom, in Robots where the main character is, like, trying to get to the promised land.

He's trying to get to the main city.

And he finally gets there and he calls his dad.
