Like I realized this and for listeners of this show, when I've actually had people kind of from the grind bin world on, like Bobby, for example, like there are things that I realized that, when only talking to him through on this show that I'm like, you know, there are things I know about him, but I don't know why.
Matt AndersonHOST

So like for, for Bobby, it was like, we did an episode Robocop versus the Terminator.
Matt AndersonHOST

And I realized that like, you know, if you listen to the grind bit enough, you know, Robocop's his favorite movie, but it's always mentioned in passing.
Matt AndersonHOST

So I was just like, why? Like what? And same thing kind of with nightmare on Elm street.

I want to cite some other ones that I really like.
BroganHOST
67:36
I like Robocop versus Terminator.
BroganHOST

That one is really sick.

I also really, really like Shock Troopers for the Neo Geo.

The Nintendo had, you know, all the blood kind of edited out.
JeremyAUDIENCE
43:29
Another great example is Robocop vs. Terminator.
JeremyAUDIENCE
43:32
Now, this is a great game on both systems.
JeremyAUDIENCE
43:34
The Super Nintendo one, though, again, it's not as bloody.

Yes, Ryan.

And it was actually pretty cool because RoboCop had a couple Genesis games based off RoboCop 3 and then RoboCop versus the Terminator, that comic book series.
Ryan TurfordGUEST
45:15
But we never got a port of the arcade game, which is a lot of punching and shooting.
Ryan TurfordGUEST
45:19
uh but it was a lot of fun to actually play on the sega genesis it sounded great it looked great it was actually pretty cool um i also played a remake of megaman 4 on the genesis uh because there was a game that uh that released called megaman the wily wars which was a sega genesis port of the first three megaman games done in like the genesis 16-bit style almost like mario all-stars in a way um but we never got like the sequel three games so someone right now is out there making those three games uh and they only currently have megaman four done uh but i played through it and again as someone who knows megaman like me like the back of my hand like it felt perfect to play like it was actually like a really good port of the game um and really really enjoyed that i also played through sonic one but it was a modified version of sonic one that was in the sonic 3 engine and uh they added a bunch of like quality of life features but also like the the sonic 3 music to the sonic one and stuff like it was just like a really cool thing to play on the genesis and then of course to round things out because it wouldn't be an extra ox drive episode folks if I didn't have stories from The Sims 4 to tell you all about.

But yeah, I never got the appeal of games like shooting and killing people and stuff like that.
Rob CaruanaHOST
13:21
Although you and me did play a game that we found on this Mega Drive thing called, I think it's called Robocop vs. Terminator.
Rob CaruanaHOST
13:29
