Robinvale

Tell us a little bit about you, the, the child, your, your childhood that, uh, you grew up in.

I was born in Sydney, but we moved around a fair bit, um, you know, from Sydney to Tassie to Leeton in New South Wales to Robinvale to Mildura.

And, you know, I don't think it was a very happy childhood.

I, and to be honest, I don't have a lot of memory from, um, from a, a little girl to the age of about eight.

I think we won the flag that year.

We played down in Robinvale.

Um, and then from there, yeah, just really progressed.

I played 18s the year after, and I think I might have come second in the goal kicking there, um, as an underager.

Yep

Elvie, Mark Elvie, who's your current coach now, is coaching there at the time, and it works out pretty well for you [laughs] when you beat Robinvale in the 2009 Grand Final at Henty Wood Oval.

Just tell us about how that come about, firstly, how you signed at Wenny as a home club, and, and h- what your memories were from that Grand Final day.

And that's how we landed in Australia.

And then on Christmas Day of that year, 2008, We moved to a country as country town called Robinvale.

I don't even think I know where that is.

Exactly.

So Robinvale is a very small town that is between Swan Hill and Mildura.

Okay.

Yeah.

I did ask you off here where you came from, and you said, funnily enough, a smaller location than Mildura, just down the road.

Yeah, a little town called Robinvale.

It's about an hour away.

Population, maybe four, four and a half thousand people, something like that.
