Brendan DunlopHOST
6:31
I think, though, there'll be a big decision to be made if they don't make it.
Brendan DunlopHOST
6:35
I can't see how Robin Fraser continues if they don't make the playoffs.
Brendan DunlopHOST
6:39
However, I do think they do make the playoffs.
Brendan DunlopHOST
6:41
Perhaps they just scrape in, but I think that this team is better than their record.
Mark GoodmanHOST
70:09
How many wins, losses, and, and ties do they have?
Matt PollardHOST
70:12
They've won at least one because there was that Michael Barrios shot cross that snuck in, and they got a win, I think under Robin Fraser.
Matt PollardHOST
70:21
17 games, this is just an MLS play, Mark?
Mark GoodmanHOST
70:24
I think so.
JimHOST
4:34
I refuse to believe that the chase for the MLS playoffs is not as exciting.
ChristianHOST
4:40
Yeah, especially with Robin Fraser as your coach.
ChristianHOST
4:44
Tactical fucking genius.
JimHOST
4:48
That sounds like sarcasm.
Matt DoylePANELIST
33:51
Yeah, I don't, I, I, I wouldn't go that far, but obviously he is better with the ball than without, and I think this is a team that is meant to have the ball.
Matt DoylePANELIST
33:58
And, uh, Robin Fraser just never solved for that this year.
Matt DoylePANELIST
34:02
But you put Georgi out there, and he solves for it himself.
Tom BogertPANELIST
34:05
Yeah.
David GassHOST
35:45
Didn't look super serious.
David GassHOST
35:46
That's not exactly a scientific medical process.
David GassHOST
35:49
That Robin Fraser [laughs] is going there, through there, but was asked the question, um, and gave an answer.
David GassHOST
35:54
So Doyle, I guess the question now is for Toronto, is it just Robin Fraser gets to play the soccer he wants, and Georgi makes them more dangerous, or are there tweaks? I mean, you assume Red Bulls are gonna sit in based off what we've seen on the weekend.
Mark GoodmanHOST
11:55
Um, he, he was media, media, um, competent, but not like, um, media friendly in the sense that like he wasn't like- ... ebullient and like, you know, glowing.
Mark GoodmanHOST
12:06
In that respect, he kinda reminds me of, um, when you would interview him of Robin Fraser.
Mark GoodmanHOST
12:11
Like, Robin Fraser, like-
Matt PollardHOST
12:12
[laughs]
Mark GoodmanHOST
12:13
... well, like it was, you know, tried to avoid getting into trouble.

8 MINS LATER

Matt PollardHOST
20:44
Sydney Withuda, I think, Mark, was worse this year with Rapids two than he was in his time with Rapids two last year despite signing a first team deal, um, in, uh, in this past preseason and early twenty twenty-six.
Matt PollardHOST
20:58
So those are kind of my thoughts there, Mark.
Matt PollardHOST
21:00
I, I agree with you that I don't know that we know what Eric Boucher's tactics are because so much of what he's been asked to do at Rapids two is to just mirror what the first team is doing, and at times doing so when he doesn't have the players for it because they're with the first team, or they're seventeen-year-olds playing out of the academy and they're not ready for this drastically different style of play going from Robin Fraser to Chris Armas or Chris Armas to Matt Wells.
David GassHOST
8:40
He's playing Chukwu, who's a youth player that he's developing through the national team.
Brian DunsethGUEST
8:44
And he, you know, the, the pressure's then applied on Robin Fraser to get more minutes for Toronto FC.
Brian DunsethGUEST
8:49
Because the idea is, how do we minimize finding a, a Moises Gambeto at 23 in Colorado? How do we, how, how do, how do we get him at 16, 17?
David GassHOST
9:01
Right.
Kevin WallaceHOST
27:24
[laughs]
The ChiefHOST
27:25
... or Robin, or Robin Fraser or, you know, somebody like that, or maybe even Oscar Pareja.
The ChiefHOST
27:30
Like-
Kevin WallaceHOST
27:30
I-
Jeffrey P. NeskerHOST
1:53
Where to start? Because it's been a while.
Jeffrey P. NeskerHOST
1:56
You know, our friends at TFC Unplugged put out a graphic of Robin Fraser's tenure at TFC.
Jeffrey P. NeskerHOST
2:05
And it's not good.
Jeffrey P. NeskerHOST
2:06
I mean, it's 63 matches, 12 wins, 25 draws, and 26 losses.

34 MINS LATER

Jeffrey P. NeskerHOST
36:02
I was totally against switching gaffers for the sprint season, but you've completely turned me around on that.
Jeffrey P. NeskerHOST
36:09
Because you were right.
Jeffrey P. NeskerHOST
36:10
By treating it like a tiny little invitational tournament... right a new gaffer comes in and there isn't immediately that crushing expectation of this season needs to be better than last season because it's already different but it's already so but it's already so many so much different that that pressure isn't the same right it's like how are we going to attack this season obviously it can't be as bad as the last one but it will never be as bad as the last one because we're not playing as many games and we're not it's not nearly as as as um chock-a-block as a typical mls season is right now you could make the argument hey give robin fraser that opportunity right this is what he's been jonesing for but 630 days have proven otherwise i mean at a certain point you have to say it's not that we think you're an asshole it's just that this isn't working out it's 600 days right
Mike NewellHOST
37:01
yeah
