Yeah, so clogging is a high energy folk dancing using your feet as the percussion.

It originated in the Appalachian Mountains, combining elements of Irish step dancing, Scottish dancing, German high kicks, and even elements of African and Native American dancing.

And it's maybe a cousin to tap dancing? It is similar to tap dancing.

Clogging is done to bluegrass and country western and pop and even hip-hop.

And the shoes, there's quite a difference between a tap shoe and a clogging shoe.
