so uh thanks for listening thanks for downloading tell your friends your loved ones Even people, you're a strange crumb.

If you've got an interior monologue, if you spend a lot of time with yourself, if you're just trying to get through life, you are noticing things and being like using an Allen headspace can get you through some quite boring life moments.

I was driving back from a gig last night and stopped at Stafford Services for dinner, basically, because I hadn't had a chance to eat.

[gentle music] Hello and welcome to the Allender Calendar with me, Robin Allender.

It's a monthly podcast where I talk to musicians, writers, and performers about their work and inspirations.

And this month I'm joined by Jake Crawford, singer and guitarist with the alternative metal band Unpeople, whose debut album, We Are Unpeople, is released today, if you're listening to this on the day this comes out, which is the 9th of October, 2026.

Sorry, I'm just going to drop in once again to say thank you to a few people.

Robin Allender for his theme tune.

Thank you so much, Robin.

Absolute fantastic work from you.
