So this is what I mean.

And when I say that this is the deepest team in the Kevin Young era, because I agree with you, they have multiple, you know, threats and especially from the three point line, you know, Robert Wright is a solid shooter.

I mean, he saw, you know, shot borderline, you know, you know, I think it was over 40% for a good amount of the season.

And then we know, you know, Bruce Branch is an OK shooter, probably working on it a lot.

Oh, um...

The thing is, there's not that many players returning that, you know, there weren't, like, huge.

Like, it's difficult for you to say, hey, Robert Wright, I mean, he averaged 18 points.

He's most likely going to be a preseason All-American, you know what I mean? So I think from that perspective, I would never pick Rob because he's already a household name, you know.

Even though, yeah, having ESPN on the call, that's obviously awesome to have it on the mothership, but still, you gotta put on a better performance in that game.

Now, I mentioned that I wanted to talk a little bit about Rob Wright.

Now, he was named by the Blue Ribbon Yearbook, which is one of the earliest, uh, season publications that comes out.

He was named a preseason All-American by that publication.

The point remains that, uh, he struggles in some of those big moments.

But the nice part is I think the supporting cast this year for BYU basketball should allow him, I think, at least in theory, to feel more comfortable dishing the ball, being more of a playmaker, uh, and allowing other guys to share in some of the glory where he doesn't have to do it all himself.

There are a ton of things I think that Rob Wright can do, and you saw evidence of it by his 100-point performance in the Powder League earlier this summer.

This is a guy who can absolutely light it up on the scoreboard, but he can't be just the one-man guy to lead BYU to glory this year.

BYU's Robert Wright III has been named preseason All-American by the Blue Ribbon Yearbook.

Wright III is only-- i-is the only Big 12 player named to the first team in college basketball's premier preseason publication.

The six-foot-one guard is joined by Florida State's-- or Florida's Thomas Huff, uh, Michigan State's Jeremy Fears Jr., and then UConn's Braylon Mullins and Vanderbilt's Tyler Tanner.

I'd have a different BYU player, I think, but I don't know.

Rob is probably as important as Kohler.
