And we can certainly do that with SMILE.

For myself, the reason I started doing smile is because even though LASIK, as you mentioned, is an amazing procedure, I had LASIK in 1997, changed my life because my eyes are so dry from contact lenses.

So the LASIK actually improved my dry eyes.

But after performing over 60,000 LASIK procedures, the number one complaint I have from my patients is dry eye symptoms after the procedure.

And usually it's short term, but it can last after six months and even years down.

And it's the highest reason for patient dissatisfaction in my practice.

So I was very happy when we started implementing SMILE.
