Robert Scorpio

I'm excited to welcome a woman whose career has taken her from Port Charles to working with some of the biggest names in music.

General Hospital fans will remember Edie Lehmann Boddicker as concert pianist Catherine Delafield, who captured the heart of Robert Scorpio, played by the late Tristan Rogers, but Edie's career goes far beyond daytime television.

She has worked with music legends including Quincy Jones, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Madonna, and you've heard her voice on so many soundtracks.

You've heard her on Full House, on the theme song, and her work includes films like The Lion King, Dune, and Wicked.

But then there's the other new character that flew Jason from Jakarta, and he is Australian, right?

Yeah, so Dean plays Tristan Roberts, I

think? Right, right.

Yeah, yeah,

the Tristan.

When I looked, he was Robert Scorpio in General Hospital back in the day.

His character's name was Robert Scorpio?

Yeah, Scorpio.

It's kinda like in Days of Our Lives when they had John Black.

Hey, General Hospital fans.

It seems like the ABC soap is finally laying the groundwork for Robert Scorpio's off-screen death, which is gonna send major shock waves through Port Charles and affect many, many lives.

Anna, of course, is gonna be severely impacted as well as many others.

They'll all be reeling.

It's Belinda from Soap Dirt, and today, we're gonna talk about what will happen and how everything will change once the legendary Robert Scorpio passes away and we finally get a proper send-off for actor Tristan Rogers.

Before we dive in, though, please hit subscribe if you're not following us.

All right, so we just got a huge clue that GH is getting ready to script Robert's death.

And since Tristan passed away in real life, obviously Robert's death has to be off-screen.

That shit gonna happen.

Yeah, but s- Robert and Anna made sure they kept that away from them.

When Robin was five, Robin was toting the gat.

[laughs]

Like, yeah, I absolutely believe that John Black taught his daughter how to shoot a gun.

I 100% believe that without issue.

Anna, Robert, and Patrick made very sure to shield Emma from as much of that shit as they possibly could.

Much like everybody sheltered Rocco, they also sheltered Emma.

That's an actor in some soap opera I remember as a kid.

Oh yeah, um, R- Robert Scorpio from General Hospital.

Scorpio and what-

Yeah, it's October 23rd and November 21st.

And Anna may realize she cannot get over Valentin and he may realize the same because he's loved Anna since he was in his 20s.

Plus, with Robert Scorpio's death reveal coming soon on General Hospital, that could send Anna into a grief spiral, and Valentin may be the one to pull Anna out of it, and that's when they spark, despite his connection to Carly.

I expect we're gonna see a couple of love triangles forming, and several breakups happening, and new couples rising from the ashes, especially as we head into November sweeps later this month.

I Heart Radio and more.

And, you know, the GH has still yet to do their podcast.

a memorial for Robert Scorpio.

That's going to be starting to be in the works pretty soon, but, um, you know, we did, we got to do one for, you know, for, for, for Lex on the bay.

Yes.

...

but we did talk about that and we did talk about Hi- uh, you know, Robert Scorpio, and uh, played some of his clips from the series fr- from The Bay.

Because we do have, uh, we do have the rights to use, uh, for clips from The Bay.

Yeah.

... we are honoring an icon of daytime television, the late, great Tristan Rogers, in his role as Commissioner Lex Martin on The Bay.

Um, we'll have clips, we'll have, just talk about his overall character arc, and, um, just trying to honor the man who left such a great legacy, whether you, whether you know him as Colin on Y&R, or Robert Scorpio on GH, or Lex on The Bay.

The man was very, or even, uh, on, um, on, uh, Studio City, uh, as well, playing Sean Kanan's father.

So, um, he, he, the man was talented.

... revisiting, for sure

...

Christian, Christian Rogers always, from everything that I've seen from Robert Scorpio on, he's always looked the same.

Like he's always-
