to invite him in, to tell him that you give him the right to interfere with you.

I learned that concept from Bob Pierce years ago.

I heard him pray.

He said, God, I'm going to give you the right to interfere with me.

And usually the most important and defining moments come at points of the biggest pain that you're going to experience.

As Bob Pierce used to say, the founder of Samaritan's Purse, he said, God break my heart with that which breaks your heart.

And I found him to be faithful to do that in my life over and over again.

And I found that when you're falsely accused and things of that nature, the best thing is just to let it go.

And we became best friends since we talk about every day on the phone, even today.

And he took over Samaritan's Purse from Bob Pierce, who started it.

And Bob's health had some issues and he wanted Franklin to take over.

And Franklin called me and said, look, meet me at Hollywood and Vine.

There's a lot of people here at the ministry that have been called here that are incredible talent and they could be making a lot of money somewhere else.

but they felt called here and the things that we get to be a part of the founder of Samaritan's Purse is not my father's guide by the name of Bob Pierce.

He started world.

He started world vision first and got mad and left and then started Samaritan's Purse.

So the first question I wanna ask, just to really get to know you, and also for my audience to get to know you, is what is your relationship with Samaritan's Purse and with the Graham family? So who are you?

So I don't know, for people who don't know about Samaritan's Purse, it is a, a Christian, an evangelical humanitarian organization that was founded in 1970, uh, by Bob Pierce.

But, um, my father-in-law, Franklin Graham, he, he took over as president and CEO a couple years later when he ha- Bob Pierce had cancer.

And so my, my father-in-law, Franklin, is, has been leading this organization, um, for many years, over 50 years.

And my husband, Edward, is his son.

We are not in charge.

Um, we are-- E- every single person here is so reliant on the Lord, and so prayer is foundational.

Um, and even Bob Pierce, who founded this, you know, he wanted to say yes to things that he couldn't do in his own strength, and that's what we call the God room principle.
