How do you stress that? Does that tie back to the training? Is that something that should be embedded in the training?

I'll go a step back.

Remember we said leaders need to be aware.

So there should have been some kind of assessment.

There should be some kind of recognition as to where the organization is.

And remember, we mentioned there is a need for a point person.

So that point person needs to go around the organization and communicate the importance.

What does that look like for a business with a limited budget? Where did they start? What's the smallest, cheapest step that a business owner can do in order to move their cyber program ahead?

The smallest step they can do is to appoint someone in their business as being the owner of cybersecurity in their business.

Take somebody who's there, And the person should probably have three characteristics.

Number one, they know people in the business.

They can have the respect of those people and they're methodical in what they do.

You appoint someone and you say, you now own this.

You wake up tomorrow morning, you're thinking about cyber.

You need someone who's good at asking politely the same thing 20 times over until it's done.

You need a person who wants to take all of the pieces like a jigsaw puzzle and put them together.

So we tend to have those kinds of discussions with leadership about first of all appointing one of their rank to have that kind of role.

Then we proceed to educate them.
