This is one of the things that I talked to him about.
10:15
I was in the Navy for 30 years.
10:17
I was what the last 20 of which I spent at the Office of Naval Intelligence as what's called an acoustic intelligence specialist or an Atkins specialist.
10:25
It's a program that was started back in the 1960s, 1962 in response to the Soviets and the number of submarines they had and We needed recordings of these so we could conduct intelligence on them.
10:37
Most of the job is going to sea to support ships and submarines actually conducting those intelligence operations, looking for those recordings to find those foreign platforms and make recordings so they can be analyzed and bring them back to ONI.
10:52
In general, we worked directly for the CO of a ship or submarine when we were on their platform, and we helped them get in the right place and do the right thing as far as getting the intelligence.
11:05
I've operated every current system that's in the Navy right now.

Colonel Robert Parker, it's gonna be a long, hot summer, and I don't mind telling you, it's been a long, hot night thus far.
107:24
I'll tell you what, it's hot, but right now we're gonna turn up the heat, and it's gonna get hotter.
107:29
I want you to know something, I didn't come up here to this stinking no good Dayton, Ohio, come up here north of the Mason Dixon to go back home with nothing.
107:39
I'm gonna guarantee you something, Sting.
107:41
I said it earlier, now I'm gonna repeat myself.
107:44
You got all those wonderful friends out there.
107:47
You know everybody loves Sting.
