So there are also excellent groups that work in Brazil, outside of Brazil with rheumatic heart disease whose works, whose papers have been cited in the series that we really would like to thank for all their contributions.

One of the things about the series is that, as you know, a good friend and mentor of ours, Dr. Robert Levine, who really idealized the series with us to begin with, passed away recently.

And all together, we decided to dedicate this series to him.

And Carminha will say a few words about his contribution to rheumatic heart disease.

And this series also has a very special meaning for us because it reflects much of Dr. Robert Levine's scientific legacy.

He developed a remarkable part of his career to advance our understanding of valvular heart disease, particularly the mechanism of mitral valve disease.
