Robert Irving

Yeah, really curious to see how these two teams are going to approach things, particularly Moncton, because Moncton, it just seems like the last couple of years, they just don't sell, as we saw by their attempt to go for it last year.

It will be interesting to see how things go going forward without Robert Irving.

The owner obviously passed away, so a bit of a change there as he passes things on to his son.

So I don't know how much things will change operationally there for Moncton.

Uh, we went back and forth with a, a few of the big banks, uh, and ended up convincing the banker that my grandfather, Allison, was currently working with, that she would take that on.

And, uh, and it was really, uh, at that point, very crucial that we had Robert Irving, who's since just passed.

Um, unfortunately, he, he had a, he had a fire within him and, and trusted us that we could kind of keep things going here on the same, same platform, same basis that they were going.

And signed a letter saying that he would, he would buy our first crop, and, and thereon therefore.

And we were really fortunate with... what we inherited as an organization.

Like, I mean, you can probably see in the background here, like I'm sitting in our video room where we're, we're really, really fortunate with the facilities and the, and the resources that we have as an organization that we're created by our ownership and Mr. Robert Irving and now his son, Mr. RJ Irving.

And so kind of what was, what was in place was, was really exciting and honestly played a big part in coming here in the first place.

But to your question, if you're not adjusting and if you're not adapting, well, then you're not, basically, if you're not getting better, you're not getting worse.
