So let's talk about some statistics briefly and what PBC is.

All right, let's start with PBC and talk about the name primary biliary cholangitis.

Primary means that essentially it is a disease that's in an organ and it's not being stimulated by something outside the organ.

Biliary is for those tubes that move bile from the liver into the intestinal tract to help with the food absorption plus lots of other tasks.

Cholangitis is an inflammation.

That itis word means inflammation of the bile tubes.

This is not an infection.

uh gets through to her to the one person because um that's that brings me just such such great um energy and um it makes me feel so good that it at least got through to one i wanted to get through to everybody but um i think it makes a big difference and i really appreciate you um being a part of um of this um of this episode um Was there anything that I maybe left out that you wanted to share with us?
