But bottom line is that the program is in seemingly a great spot with David Braun, the NIL, and All of those things took a little bit of time to come around.

But I think the one thing that is really telling about the David Braun era is that, you know, unlike past, you know, Northwestern history, he doesn't seem content for a seven and six or an eight and five season, something like that.

Missed a lot of last year, but he's been really good for them this year.

You know, main player that Penn State fans should watch out for is Robert Fitzgerald, leads the Big Ten in tackling back at that safety spot.

Probably going to be, I would say, Northwestern's top draft pick this upcoming April, probably in the third or fourth round range, something like that, but he's just a tackling machine.

They've been able to rack up a decent amount of yards through these first couple of games.

You look defensively at Northwestern, and it's been Robert Fitzgerald in the defensive backfield that has pulled down 25 tackles, has a pass defense, and has recovered a fumble.

You've also seen some good performance out of Braden Turner, who's got an interception and two passes defending, and Ori Adi, who also has an interception so far on the season.

So three sacks, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries, five takeaways total through these first couple of games.

And then Brandon Fontenot is the leading tackler for Colorado with 11.

And Robert Fitzgerald leads the way for Northwestern.

And he's been a mainstay at that program four years.

114 total tackles last year.

The other player, the player that impressed me most probably, especially on the defensive side of the ball, was Fitzgerald.
